HERE ARE 5 REASONS WHY THE REPUBLICAN PARTY IS A JOKE!

Leedog 1. The Republican rhetoric/propaganda is astounding! The only way to express their values or ideas is
through the use of FEAR! This is the main reason that former President Bush was elected twice. FEAR that there would be another terrorism attack and convincing people that the Democrats were incapable of protecting this country was their main strategy. I don't want to hear how Bush kept the country safe for all the years after 911, we need to remember that the greatest terror attack in history, happened under Bush's watch. Republicans used FEAR during the election to try to prove that President Obama was an extremist/socialist/non-American Muslim who had no experience to run the country. Now Republicans are using FEAR to shoot down health care reforms by scaring people with their propaganda concerning the issues of abortion and death panels. Republicans state that we can't afford health reform in these tough economic times. Where was the concern on their part when we spent $1 trillion in Iraq. They have lost their credibility when it come to issues concerning fiscal responsibility... and they know it.

They have no fresh ideas to solve the nations problems.
Republicans keep resorting to the same old argument to cut taxes and reduce government spending. Well, I agree! Democrats have always been known for their spending but over the last 8 years under a mostly dominated Republican lead country, spending was not reduced. In fact, spending under Republicans doubled the deficit at the time and former President Bush didn't veto a Republican spending bill until his last couple years in office. Republicans also have no LEADER! The party is just wandering without a purpose because the Party lacks a charismatic leader to guide them into the future. Republicans know this but would never admit it because of how pathetic it sounds. If Rush and Palin are the best they can offer the American people, then they deserve to be keep out of power. It's a dying party to begin with. The "Neo-cons" are closing the doors to moderates, independents, minorities and the younger generation. Soon it will truly be the Party for people who are either white, rich or hillbillies.

Democrats in Congress like Speaker Pelosi. I can understand that's how politics are played but Republicans have proven they have very short memories when it comes to their criticisms. When the Bush administration is brought up on how incompetent they were, all Republicans can say in response... "That was the past!" or "When are you Liberal Left-Wingers going to move on?" Its' a pathetic attempt to not take the responsibility for what happened during a Republican Presidency. History is on my side! I remember Bush being warned of Al Qaeda before 911, that no WMDs were found in Iraq, we never caught Bin Laden, Gitmo, Katrina, waterboarding, domestic spying, politicising the Justice Department, collapse of our economy... etc. etc. If I were a Republican, I would be ashamed of those years (I'm sure most are), and realize that anyone in the Republican Party may have lost their credibility with the American people. They've turned their Party into a joke.

don't Republicans remember that has been done over the past 8 years with the Bush tax cuts. How well did that work for the middle class of this country? It's just another version of the "trickle down theory" which is a perfect example of Republican propaganda. Republicans know the middle-class were screwed while the top 1% of the richest people only expanded their wealth. That is exactly how the Republicans want it. Were Republicans the Party for civil rights.... NO! Were they they Party under Nixon that made the health industry about profits instead of heath... YES! Were Republicans the Party that wanted Americans to receive Social Security and Medicare... NO! Were Republicans ever in support of unions in this country to fight for the rights of workers... NO! Were Republicans in favor of promoting fear into trying to stop people from obtaining affordable (not free) health insurance to stem rising premiums...YES! I know all politicians have been bought and sold by special interests but what recent Republican policy actually tried to help Americans in need? I think we know the answer, and the answer is ...NONE!

plan or idea come up to try to fix the mess the country is in Republicans start crying like a little girl screaming "UNFAIR!" Have they forgotten how the Constitution has set up our Democracy? Two words.. MAJORITY RULES! So fucking get over it! Don't start screaming how this government process is leaving you behind, and asking where is the bipartisanship. It was clear a long time ago that you were going to block any attempt for this administration to fix some of the countries current problems. The Republicans ideas have failed and it's only due to your ignorance that you still keep talking and trying to promote them, but who is listening? Regain your composure, sit down and shut up! If you don't want to do the work on behalf of your constituents, that's fine, but the MAJORITY of this country wants something done. So again, either work on a compromise or shut up because there's a lot of work to be done.
