Russian authorities from the city of Perm (700 miles east of Moscow), stated that three homeless men killed a person and then proceeded to eat certain parts from the dead body. The remaining body parts that weren't eaten, were then gathered up and the three cannibals tried to sell the meat to a local kebab restaurant to make a little extra money on their kill. Authorities were able to track down the the three men, due to the fact that they left some human body parts at a public bus station, most likely on their way to make their sale. The authorities stated that they were unsure if the restaurant actually served the human flesh to their customers but just the possibility that unsuspecting people may have been dinning on a fellow human beings... is unacceptable. I would assume based on the story that certain restaurant owners will serve any type of meat they could get their hands on. A very scary thought if you live and eat there.

 I find this is disturbing in many ways. This is a modern world, a modern society and yet to hear that common people who are down on their luck and homeless are willing to kill and eat their victim... is mind-blowing! As sad as it sounds, people have been killing each other since the dawn of man, but long ago people decided that eating each other was morally wrong and had to stop. This is not some lost tribe in the Amazon Jungle who are uncivilized or men who are lost at sea with no chance of survival unless they eat the dead, these are men who have lost all meaning on what it means to be a human being. Most people who need some food and have no money commonly resort to begging or stealing. Sometimes people will help other people in need, even in a backwards country like Russia. 

 Desperate people may do desperate things but they never usually resort to murder, cannibalism and then trying to sell the human flesh for a profit. These modern day cannibals need to be found guilty and immediately executed, there is no place for them in any of the world's societies when they have proven they have a fondness for the taste of human flesh. These three men who committed these heinous acts should be eaten alive themselves as punishment for their crimes.

 I can understand since the fall of the Soviet Union that the citizens have had to endure some hard economic times. The leaders of Russia have a long history of not giving two-shits concerning the welfare of their people, but this is NO EXCUSE! Russia is loaded with oil revenue but yet they can't make sure their homeless get a hot meal other then having the homeless start killing people and eating them? If anyone is planning a trip to Russia, whether on business or a vacation, stay out of the dark alleys of the urban cities. You may find yourself being killed and then being served to a Russian on a stick!
