I am so disappointed at how the real meaning of Christmas has been lost. This special holiday is to get together with family, share a meal and give a gift to each other to celebrate the birth of Jesus. What the holiday has now become is get up at 3am and race your butt off to get to the stores to run up your credit cards to the maximum limit. Now that you are broke and tired you cant wait to get the whole event over with just so you can get some rest and figure out how to pay the huge bill you have created. Happy holidays???

 As consumers we are stupid for getting up at the crack of dawn for most of the great deals that the stores offer anyway. When they advertise a Flat Screen TV for say $100.00 in reality they have on average about 5 of those in stock so what are your chances of really being able to purchase one? Even worse store employees have been trampled to death by people trying to be the first to get into the store when the doors open, This is out of control!!  

 Christmas is in December right? WRONG! As soon as the Halloween costumes are off the shelf, the Christmas ornaments replace them. Thanksgiving and the poor turkey no longer get any respect or notoriety. Christmas has been reduced from a holy day to a commercialized mess with very little regard to religion at all. Cant we just go back to a simple celebration without all the hype and remember the original reason why we are celebrating to begin with?
