Recently a couple down in Port St. Lucie, Florida were sitting down to a nice quite meal when all hell broke loose. During their meal the couple got into a heated argument and the wife became so upset that she poured her soda on her husbands cheeseburger. After seeing this the husband felt the need to retaliate and then proceeded to take his soggy cheeseburger and rub it in his wife's face. After rubbing the burger in her face, a small food fight broke out between the couple. The husband then proceeded to leave the restaurant, without his wife and headed back home. Well, it seems the wife was a little more upset over what just happened than the husband was, and she decided to go the the police. Authorities later arrested the man three hours later at his residence and charged her husband with a misdemeanor domestic battery charge.

 I'm sure the other patrons in the restaurant had to be wondering what was going on, especially if the argument escalated into a food fight. If my wife were to dump her soda on my cheeseburger, I would be mad but wouldn't shove the burger back in her face. But I'm sure I would be asking her what the hell her problem was? On the other hand, I wouldn't expect the woman that I'm with to feel the need to bring the authorities in on this matter. The embarrassment alone of having two adults throwing food at each other in a public restaurant should be a suitable punishment and having the police involved is simply ridiculous. But is does shed some light on certain problems in their relationship and having a food fight solves none of them.

 Most likely this couple's marriage is heading down the toilet. The wife is going to hold some resentments for having her husband shove food in her face. The husband is going to hold some resentments towards his wife for calling the police on him and having him arrested. It's quite possible that the couple has had some ANGER issues for a while but maybe this is just the way they communicate with each other and things just got a little carried away. Either way. the couple should remember how they acted like idiots the next time they go out to eat. Or at the very least, if they feel the need to start throwing food at each other, keep it fair... NO RUBBING FOOD IN THE OTHER PERSON'S FACE!
