Doctors sug-gested surgery and pro-ceeded to operate expect-ing to find a tumor. The lead doctor stated they were expecting the tumor's size to be around the size of an orange. When they went in, to their surprise the tumor that took 4 hours of surgery and 8 doctors to remove, was literally the size of an over grown watermelon. Unfortunately, the doctors discovered the woman's tumor was malignant and is still under observation five days after she had her surgery. The article goes on to say that the woman wanted to remain anonymous and at the time of her surgery weighed 343 pounds.

A classic case of someone living in poverty who had no access to regular health care which in turn allow-ed the tumor to grow unchecked? Possible. This could also be a case of someone not living a healthy lifestyle who chose not to take care of their body and go see a doctor on a regular basis? Possible. It could even be a mixture of both... I'm not sure? What I find puzzling is how someone can gain so much weight due to a growing tumor and not recog-nize it? Even if the person is extremely overweight, you would still think that the body would give clues to the sickness within? To have a tumor the size that this woman had in her lower abdomen and to not notice something is extremely wrong and a doctor should be consulted... is like playing 'Russian Roulette' with your health! Her excuse of thinking she was just gaining weight which caused her to not take this seriously could prove to be a deadly one. She has a tough battle ahead of her and I'm sure she is in all of our prayers but people should never use their weight as an excuse to not listen to their bodies.

Well, to borrow the phrase "Believe It Or Not", the article claims that this monstrosity of a tumor down in Argentina is not the biggest ever recorded. It appears that the record was a cyst removed in California (1991) that weighed 303 pounds and a few others that were over 100 pounds. I'm sure we could all agree that seeing the doctor can be a good thing and that none of us want something like that, growing to that size, in any of us... No Way Jose'!

After his doctor examined the bump on his scalp and cut the area open, the doctor was very surprised to find a .22 caliber bullet. The authorities were called in to investigate what had happened and were told by the Polish man that he felt a sharp pain to his head on New Year's Eve around 5 years ago. He went on to mention that he was so drunk that evening, that he really didn't worry about the pain then and over the following years it really wasn't a problem that was worthy of a doctor's visit until just recently. The authorities handling the case believe that some News Year's Eve party revelers were firing their guns in celebration and a stray bullet must have struck the man in the head that evening at the party. The authorities went on to state that they weren't filing criminal charges in the case.

I can understand having a few drinks to celebrate the holidays, that's a social tradition that has been going on for centuries... but to get so drunk that a person wouldn't even notice if he was struck in the head by a bullet is concrete evidence that someone has a drink-ing problem. If I were to be struck in the head by a bullet, I'm confident that no matter how much alcohol I was drinking at a party, that I would still be able to feel a sharp pain like that. This guy has one thick skull! Plus, you would think after the next day that someone who wasn't a severe alcoholic would notice a fresh, new bump on their head causing some noticeable pain that wasn't there the day before? You would think? I would also like to know what the guy's friends were doing at this time while the guy was accidentally getting shot in the head? His friends must have been partying just as hard as he was and must have been just as drunk for them to not even notice. I would say that everyone at the party was very lucky, especially the victim whose bullet wound ended up not as serious as it could have been.

I would suggest from now on if this guy is going to attend anymore New Year's Eve parties in that same neighborhood along with that same crowd, that he start wearing a hard hat!! I feel this would be a must, due to this person's propensity to over-drink and get smashed, it's his best and only shot to avoid getting shot in the head again.

Recently, 42 year old Michael Rosen of Salem, Massachusetts had a court appearance for a ticket he received for driving on a suspended license. Mr. Rosen decided that instead of appearing in front of a judge to let the Criminal Justice System hear the case against him, he sent a man (presumably one of his friends) to tell the Judge that Mr. Rosen was dead. While in court, the man showed the Judge a copy of Mr. Rosen's death certificate and that he had just died the week before he was to appear in front of the court. After looking over the certificate, the Judge handling the case promptly dismissed all charges against Mr Rosen and the case was closed. However, a probation officer who had his suspicions called one of his fellow officers, only to find out that Mr. Rosen had checked in with his OWN probation officer 4 days after he supposedly had died. After authorities went back to further review the death certificate, they found spelling errors and no official raised seal... it was definitely a fake! Authorities have now issued an arrest warrant for Mr. Rosen, who is now facing additional charges of forgery and counterfeiting.

This guy is a total ASS! Why would anyone with an ounce of intelligence come up with a scheme with this much risk just to get out of one traffic ticket? Driv-

ing without a license is not the end of the world and Mr. Rosen should have chosen the right thing to do, by going to court with an attorney and take care of the matter immediately. Instead, Mr. Rosen sends his friend into court on an elaborate hoax with a phony death certificate, hoping to fool a Judge into dismissing the case... and ALMOST gets away with it! I'm thinking he's tried this maneuver somewhere before, in another court case, in front of another Judge and has gotten away with it. While building up his confidence to continue to keep trying it... but I'm not sure? You would think that most sane people would laugh at the thought of trying what Mr. Rosen did and that anyone who would consider it is certifiably insane..

The funny thing is (not for Mr. Rosen... but who really cares about him anyway?) that once the authorities catch up with Mr. Rosen, they're going to throw him in jail and when brought into court to face these new charges based totally on his own stupidity... the same Judge that he made a complete FOOL out of! It won't be pretty! I can guarantee that Judge is not going to be in a pleasant mood when it comes to Mr. Rosen and his recent deceptions. This Judge is probably already salivating in anticipation of their next encounter... lol!

A man living in Michigan named Jerry Douthett (48), went out to dinner with his wife and found himself drinking a few more giant margaritas than he should have. After dinner and cocktails the couple arrived home and went to bed along with their pet dog Kiko (Jack Russell Terrier), who usually sleeps with the couple on a nightly basis. Unfortunately, when Jerry woke up he discovered that Kiko had eaten his big toe... clean off! The sheets were covered in blood and of course, the most obvious explanation to what had just happened... Kiko himself had drips of fresh blood all over his face while still licking his chops. Jerry's wife, a registered nurse, immediately rushed him to the hospital. The doctor's examined the toe only to discover that the Jerry was suffering from Type 2 diabetes and that they needed to remove even more of the infected toe. The wife told doctors she had been complaining to Jerry for weeks to go have his toe examined but Jerry was being a stubborn ASS!

Two questions come to mind. First, did this dog (Kiko) somehow know that the man's toe was infected and figured he would do his owner a favor and gnaw it off? Some believe that pets have some sort of sixth-sense when it comes to these certain things or could this be just a simple case of the dog just wanting a snack? Dogs don't normally eat parts of their owners, especially when they're still alive and it seems the dog only ate the infected parts of the infected toe. You would think if the dog was hungry and needed some food that he would just eat a little toe, there's a much better chance of getting away with it? Maybe Kiko smelt the infection in the big toe and thought his owner was dead due to lack of movement because of all the alcohol that he drank? It's a tough call to figure out what the dog was thinking but I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. My second question would be... how did this guy sleep through the night while his dog was eating his toe? You're going to tell me that you're not going to feel that? Having those little dog teeth ripping your flesh and gnawing at your bones like a dog treat, would easily catch my attention... no matter how much I drank that evening!

Jerry credits Kiko with saving his life, he states that he probably wouldn't have gone to see the doctor about his infected toe and was very appreciative that the dog took care of it for him. As for me, I would probably always look at that dog a little funny knowing that at one time he ate my big toe, even if it was for my own good.

This brewery has had a repu-tation for making good beer but with a higher alcohol content than most of their competitors. Well, with their latest creation they have gone where others have failed to reach, making a beer with 55% alcohol content. I'm thinking a beer with that much alcohol in it has got to taste very strong, possibly bitter. So, right off the bat I would question how good the taste would be but would be willing to try it. However, there is another unique aspect to this beer... the bottle is placed in a stuffed squirrel! My first question would be... WHY? How drunk were they when they made their decision on this? Why would the makers of this beverage market a beer that's placed in a taxidermied animal, that could have been some roadkill somewhere that they touched up? Not to mention, that everytime you wanted a drink you have to touch the animal's fur... how good would that work on a hot summer day? It's just not right! I don't want some dead animal staring me in the face everytime I take a drink from my beer. Plus, I haven't even mentioned the price. The cost for one of these morbid beers runs in the hundreds of dollars and again, that's just for one bottle.

Having a beer with a high alcohol concentrate is something I would be willing to try, having a beer surrounded by a stuffed little critter would give me the creeps.... NO WAY! I couldn't help but wonder if the little guy was killed and stuffed just to be my bottle decoration. Shouldn't we have more respect for God's creatures than shoving bottles down their throats just for are marketing amusement? So, for a few hundred dollars I can have a super strong beer and a stuffed squirrel as a bonus... thanks but no thanks, I think I'll pass and just stick with Miller Lite.

In 2008, Jeanne became upset over the break-up of her rela-tionship with her boyfriend and decided that she needed to somehow make him pay. She started sending the text messages to herself and then went to the police claiming her former boyfriend and sister-in-law were threatening her safety. Well, as we all know, one of the easiest things for for the authorities to verify are phone records. And so they did, discovering that Jeanne was the one who was actually sending the messages to herself and promptly decided to arrest her. After being convicted in May of 3 felony counts of false imprisonment by fraud or deceit and also 2 misdemeanor counts of making a false police report, Jeanne was sentenced to a year in jail.

Obviously this woman isn't the sharpest tool in the shed and really didn't plan her act of revenge with too much thought. Jeanne needs to learn from the consequences of her actions and realize the police aren't as stupid as she is. Also, there are some other lessons need to be learned here. The best thing to do when a relationship goes bad is to simply move on, not frame them and members of their family for crimes they did not commit. Sometimes though, people do need to set the record straight and make things right... but if you want to avoid having it blow up in your face and spending time behind bars, I would stay within the parameters of the law.

In my opinion, this woman got exactly what she deserved. The police are busy enough, they don't need to be distracted from the REAL crimes by having their time wasted on ignorant people who just want to use them for their own personal revenge. Furthermore, our judicial court system doesn't need to be bur-dened with bogus cases filed due to false accu-sations made by people who seem to have some serious mental and social issues, the court system is on the brink of collapse as it is. I can only hope she ponders her decisions while sitting in jail for a year and asks herself was it all worth it?

After her husband passed away in 1999, Ms. Stevens had her embalmed husband dug up and brought the corpse back to her home. Also, just recently Jean's twin sister passed away and Ms. Stevens must have thought "What the hell?... It worked with my late husband" and must have did the exact same thing, she waited for her sister to be embalmed and buried, then had her sister dug up and brought back to her home. After she explained she had some problems dealing with death and her intentions were harmless, the woman was told by local authorities that she would be able to keep the bodies if she were to build a crypt on her land... she agreed to do so.

I'm assuming the woman's love for her husband and twin sister drove her to this unusual decision. When she explained to authorities that she has never been able to handle death well, that struck me as especially ODD. This woman seems to be able to handle death quite well, the woman had two dead, embalmed bodies at her house. You need to have a strong character/fortitude to accomplish what she did for so long. I could never feel comfortable knowing dead bodies and I would be in the same location in my residence, it just wouldn't feel right. So, I give this old lady credit. I'm sure it wasn't easy at times. Plus, no matter how much you love someone or don't want them to pass on... we need to keep in mind that we have traditions in our society of having proper burials and having universal laws so people don't start collecting their deceased loved ones at their homes.

As for the lifestyle the woman lived while her dead husband was there, if her sister knew and wanted the same thing to happen to her when she passed on or if this woman was just crazy and thought her husband was really still alive... the article didn't state and still remain unclear. As for me, I've seen too many zombie movies to be having corpses laying around my house. No Way!! It would totally give me the creeps! Plus, I'm not a sweet 91 year old lady/Grandma who could get away with something like this. I'm sure that I would be accused by the authorities of all sorts of things for having some dead people just hanging around at my residence... but I was glad to read that the authorities cut her a break.

And Then Throwing Your Puppy At Them!

I don't know if this guy had a death wish or what but this guy's lucky to be alive! Recently, a German student (age 26) caused a major traffic jam in Bavaria as he was trying to get away in a stolen bulldozer from a gang of Hell's Angels who were chasing after him. The man was being pur-sued for flipping the gang the "bird" and throwing a puppy (why would anyone throw a puppy at someone?) at them all for no apparent reason. As the guy was being chased, he somehow found... and was able to drive, a bulldozer to help in his urgent get away. Unfortunately, he wasn't the most experienced bulldozer driver because he ended up crashing it and causing huge traffic jams for commuters for miles around. The police were called and after a couple of hours they eventually apprehended the man at his house, adding the man has been suffering from depression lately and were unclear what his motivations were at the time of the incident. The authorities also stated that the puppy thrown at the Hell's Angels was safe and in good hands.

I think this guy was suffering from a little depression and a lot of CRAZY! First, under no circumstances should you be messing with a gang of hell's Angels. You don't "flip them off" and you definitely don't start throwing puppies at them! These guys don't mess around, they chew and spit out people who dare try to mess with them or their fellow gang members. It's quite possible though, that the guy was feeling suicidal and wanted to kill himself along with his little puppy? I don't know but he's lucky he didn't get the snot kicked out of him for his stupid actions. As for stealing a bulldozer as your getaway vehicle, that's also not too smart of a move. A bulldozer may provide some security so the gang members chasing can't get in or get close enough but you sure can't go fast enough in the bulldozer to lose them.

This seems like a clear-cut case of someone needing some mental therapy for sure. He also needs to stay away from puppies and other animals due to the fact that he may get a sudden urge to throw them.

Furthermore, I would like to see this guy stay away from the Hell's Angels or any other gang members in his area, if he wants to go off on some group of people, I would suggest finding some chess club or study group you can give the "bird' to (no chance of death). As for the gang members, I think they should be allowed to keep the puppy that was thrown at them... they could possibly name the puppy "Toss."

They're trying to figure out how Ozzy has been able to stay alive after decades of his legendary drug and alcohol abuse that basically should have killed him a long time ago. But the "Prince of Darkness" keeps on kicking and may hold the key to how his body has been able to absorb all those toxins throughout the years. Now don't get me wrong, I've heard Ozzy talk and it's very hard to make out what he's trying to say, his speech and mental processes are lacking so I would have to say that the years of being in the "fast lane" has taken it's toll... but he's resilient! Not only is the genetic test they want to preform is not cheap (£27,000), the test itself is not done that often, the article states that Ozzy "is only one of a few people in the world to have his full genome analysed."

Some certain people with extreme views may say Ozzy survived through so much and so long due to him worshiping the devil or making a pact with Satan or something to that effect. It's a total bunch of nonsense! However, there could be something to this whole genetic DNA thing that allows Ozzy to be able to absorb more toxins/drugs and dispel them better/faster than the normal person could. So the amount of drugs or alcohol that would kill the average person would just be a normal, fun-time party for Ozzy. I don't know this for a fact, but one could assume that Ozzy has slowed his partying down to a crawl (he may not be doing anything at all) and old age has finally caught up with the "Prince of Darkness."

Hopefully these tests will shed some light on the mystery and madman called Ozzy Osbourne. Truly a living legend in music and a living "God" when it comes to heavy metal fans around the world. Also, if you think about, it's truly amazing Ozzy has been able to function while writing songs, doing concerts, his t.v. shows, his marriage and family... all while being toasted out of his gourd!! God Bless Ozzy!

Throughout the decades that followed, Rock and Roll has gained enormous strength due to the numerous talented musicians and bands that became the driving force of the genre of music loved millions around the world. Rock and Roll's glory days seem to have been in the 60's and 70's with legend-ary bands like The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Bruce Springsteen, The Rolling Stones and The Who... just to name a few. With many of the bands of that time having multiple #1 smash hits, hundreds of gold and platinum records and playing in sold-out stadiums in just about every city you could possibly think of, Rock and Roll seemed to be an unstoppable force that would live on forever. However, in the recent past the talent pool of musicians and bands seems to be drying up in a slow, unnoticed process that Rock and Roll fans are apparently unaware of.

Where are the bands and musicians of today who are going to carry the torch? Is it Rock and Roll's fate to have the same destiny as the other styles of music that have lost popularity and have just faded away? In the 80's Rock and Roll was in a renaissance with the huge popularity of "hair-bands" like Motley Crue, Poison and Bon Jovi. While the "hair-bands" were celebrating their ascent to the top of the Rock and Roll mountain, a dark cloud was forming on the horizon threatening to turn Rock and Roll upside down... forever! In fact, I can narrow it down to one song title that kicked Rock and Roll in it's teeth... "Nevermind." Kurt Cobain and his ground breaking band Nirvana showed the world a new style of music known as "alternative." Rock and Roll would never truly recover and many of those 80's "hair bands" that rose to the top now found themselves going extinct.

Granted there are many styles of music to choose from and the great Rock and Roll songs of the past will last throughout history but unfortunately will start slowly fading away. My concern is that Rock and Roll has peaked and their doesn't seem to be new, fresh talent to slow the pace of decline. Sure, some people may say I'm NUTS (or just too old) and that there are plenty of new bands who have the talent to carry on the legacy. This maybe true but I don't see or hear the talent and none of the bands could even come close to the Rock and Roll "Titans" of old. Show me a band today that has as much talent and song writing capability as Led Zeppelin or The Rolling Stones and I'll reconsider my opinion but those bands are NOT out there and this is why I feel that what we knew and loved about a certain style of music called Rock and Roll is dead... may it REST IN PEACE.
